The Swedish name is Grammofonleverantörernas förening (GLF). Where does the English name "Swedish Recording Industry Association" come from? Did somebody just make this up, or is there a source? --LA2 07:58, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'll be honest, I was unable to find a definitive translation so I picked a name that sometimes came up on Google. Actually, now that I search for it again it doesn't seem to come up all that often. My fault. (However, it does match things like Canadian Recording Industry Association...) –Unint 17:50, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- I think the translation is OK. There might be very little support for it, but there is also nothing that contradicts it. However, there is no need to translate everything. The article could have been named Grammofonleverantörernas förening. See for example Deutsches Musikarchiv or Riksarkivet. A well-established translation is used for the Royal Institute of Technology (Kungliga tekniska högskolan). The category:national libraries is a mix of English translations (Danish, Dutch, Russian, Swedish) and native language names (Colombia, France, Germany). --LA2 05:56, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
