@Orygun: Thanks for starting an infobox. What source do you have for Swan Island being 900 acres? – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 02:00, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

I've removed this from the infobox for now as I have not come across a source that gives the full area of the island. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 19:12, 26 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Article reference 1 … Oregon Encyclopedia, para 4 says: "The fill for the runway and the addition of dredged material from the excavation of the main navigation channel increased the size of Swan Island by three times, to 900 acres. The Port completed the airstrip in time for a visit by Charles Lindbergh in September 1927."--Orygun (talk) 05:56, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
That is definitely no longer accurate. Compare photos of the island in 1927 to now. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 13:55, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
I guess there's a question of what constitutes the "island", as Swan Island and Mock's Bottom are now connected. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 14:09, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
