I removed the statement that she is a Fellow of King's College. No reference was given and the list of fellows [1] doesn't include her. I'm also doubtful of the claim that she was a lecturer in theology and natural sciences. You generally have to be a pretty well-respected academic, and full-time, to be a lecturer. She may well have been invited to give some special lectures, but that is not the same. DJ Clayworth (talk) 21:24, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Tidied that up. Honorary Fellow of King's College London is now referenced. Claim of being a science lecturer is unsubstantiated and removed. DJ Clayworth (talk) 20:36, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Second World War" versus "World War II"

edit

The term "WWII" in this article was edited to "Second World War." However, the Wikilink "Second_World_War" automatically redirects to the article entitled "World_War_II" - so it makes no sense to change it to "Second World War." I edited two instances of the term to "World War II," which is the more commonly used term, and added in the correct Wikilink. See: Second World War disambiguation. nycdi (talk) 00:34, 25 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
