Level Editor

I think there should be a section with details about the level editor, especially since it's mentioned but not explained in the article. It's an invaluable tool for making the game's fun last. No wii homebrew section?

I was just woundering, why didn't you guys add a section talking about the wii homebrew port? And for that matter, why not include it with the platforms? Even the other console ports you didn't mention any about. I know it's unoffical but still, come on guys.

I don't think the two games listed are appropriate for a see also section. See also sections are for somewhat similar articles, right? I think Super Mario War is first and foremost an unofficial homebrew game. The two games are commercial ones. The link to New Super Mario Bros. Wii shares the gameplay elements of multiplayer and jumping on heads, Super Mario Maker is a level editor. The see also section is not for mentioning games with similar gameplay, but for similar articles in general. As Super Mario War is an unofficial homebrew game, it's similar to other unofficial Mario games. There's already {{Unofficial Mario media}}, otherwise those games could've been listed there. help wanted: where to get?

The article doesn't appear to say anything about where the game can be found currently, something I would prefer to find out since I used to play the game all the time. I vaguely remember there being an unofficial mirror on softpedia or the like, but I can't remember exactly and, when I tried to run the file from wherever-it-was, it said something about a missing DLL. Does anyone know an legitimate site to obtain this from and what to do if that DLL is missing (which it probably is since Windows doesn't tend to include depreciated libraries)? For that matter, a good site where I could get other abandonware games, in addition to this one, would be appreciated even more than one that just hosts this and general software. I haven't given up on this. I also note that the article mentions this being an open source game. That implies the source code is available somewhere, right? I'd be fine with compiling that myself if it's available, and in fact would kinda prefer it anyway since I could then use it to more easily revive it properly once I have time (likely after I finish my Software Development degree).--Macks2008 (talk) 18:18, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
