Theres alot of misinformation abt Sunan al-Daraqutni in this article becasues of poor sourcing.

The first is the baseless information of "deliberately collected the famous Moudu (fabricated) and Dhaif (weak in Narration) Hadiths." taken from a lone source, Kitabuun, which reported info that has no basis. The correct information about this Sunan's intention is found in Arabic Books/Pages, and a english source has translated somewhat. I am trying to put information and quotes from there, (they include commentary). It is not my own commentary.

The 2nd is the gross misquotation of Ibn-e-Taymiyyah, that he said "Daraqutni used to mention the unreliable hadiths in his Sunan, so that he and the other scholars can make it clear that those Hadiths are unreliable", this quote does not exist, and this was also reported by the lone source Kitabuun without a reference in this article. The actual reference of Ibn-e-Taymiyyah simply states Imam Daraqutni collected the lesser known Sunan, and thats it, there is no sentence on "so that he and the other scholars can make it clear that those Hadiths are unreliable". The reference is from Ibn-e-taymiyyah's book Majmu-al-fatawa Vol 27, explained by many secondary sources, if including the primary source is not allowed, let the 2ndary authentic sources be quoted.

The 3rd problem is the quoted paper is not about the Sunan al-Daraqutni, its about the method of Daraqutni in critiizing another scholar's books of Hadith (Sahih Bukhari), and another scholar's criticism of him. This paper does not belong in this article, instead belongs on the article for Imam Daraqutni life/works. This paper has no information about the Sunan or its methodology. Its irrelevent

I have tried to fix the misinformation of this article many times, but am being prevented by who I think are the mods accusing me of bias/credulous use of faith, I require a 'concencus for the edit'. The above information is found in a plethora of books regarding the Sunan, especially the mention of him collecting lesser known Sunnah, please participate in whatever this concencus is, so that I may finally get permission to fix the gross misinformation of this article.
