Bring information over from the Impreza article
editIt would be great if any information on the XV/Crosstrek that is on the Subaru Impreza article can be brought over to this one. Most people come here looking for information, and it is crucial that all of the information is in one place.
Hybrid Styling
editBoth generations of Crosstreks have different styling compared to their conventional counterparts. Kk027 (talk) 03:51, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
Predecessor
editOne could say the 1st and 2nd gen Foresters were spiritual predecessors, should they be added to the predecessor list? They definitely should be in the "related" list. Maybe the Outback as well as it (at least used to) be based on the same idea (lifted wagon), though the Outback Sport is already there. Kk027 (talk) 13:56, 21 February 2020 (UTC)
- No. The Outback Sport and Impreza XV were the only two known predecessors of the Crosstrek. Eightsixofakina (talk) 04:58, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- The Forester previously occupied the segment, also being based on the Impreza, with the Crosstrek replacing it after the original compact crossovers grew creating a new subcompact crossover category. Kk027 (talk) 20:51, 4 April 2020 (UTC)
FB25 is not yet available in the Crosstrek
editThe FB25 isn't available in the Crosstrek yet so it shouldn't be in the infobox.Kk027 (talk) 18:54, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
Addition of Hobo Johnson Song
editEdit was reverted about addition of popular song that heavily references the car wondering why it was not an appropriate edit?IAmStos_NZ
- WP:CARTRIVIA says that we only put in such information if it influences the design, sale, reputation, etc of the vehicle. Stepho talk 00:39, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
Bring over information about the Subaru Impreza XV from the Subaru XV article on Wikipedia Japan
editIn some global markets, the Impreza XV is considered the first generation of the XV/Crosstrek. The North American-delivered Outback Sport does not count since it is an entirely different car.
