edita simple trick!? the maze is supposively odd shape to make it impossible to keep a straight line. it is design to confuse the sense of direction. the DW game try to copy it(but not very hard since it has to be beatable to be fun!), but it shown how a simple maze can be very confusing to navigate but if you know the path(walkthrough) you can get across it quickly. it is more of a time delay then anything, you could always flatten the maze! ~,~ Akinkhoo (talk) 17:39, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Red Cliffs reference is inappropriate
editThe Battle of Red Cliffs had nothing to do with the Stone Sentinel Maze except that they both referenced the bagua. In Red Cliffs, one of the army formations was based around that idea; the Stone Sentinel Maze was literally a maze of rocks. I think this connection is too tenuous to support a reference to Red Cliffs in this article, especially since the Stone Sentinel Maze was deployed long AFTER the Battle of Red Cliffs. --173.77.233.162 (talk) 03:17, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- You're mistaken. The "Cultural references" section lists examples of the maze appearing in popular culture and media. It's not the section for references that support information in the article. In fact, the article has no supporting references at all. Lonelydarksky (暗無天日) contact me (聯絡) 14:11, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
Pictures?
editIt would be good to have a picture of the stone maze. Any takers?
