Cate Blanchett in Stitches video?

edit

This article states that Cate Blanchett appears in a cameo in the first video version of "Stitches" (i.e. Handrwritten Part 3). Watching the video on Youtube, there is only one actress in the video, Ivy Matheson. Is this claim a hoax? Or was the video subsequently edited, after the original release? Song key and mode

edit

The current article asserts that the song is in Bb minor, but the melody doesn't ever rest on a Bb, and seems to use Eb as fundamental instead, suggesting a Eb dorian mode. It's true that chords feature Bbm prominently, but it sounds as a substitute for Db major and the recurring use of Ab→Db and Gb→Db cadences may indicate an underlying Db major functional harmony. My sensation is that the mode is ambiguous and this contributes to the bittersweet taste of the song.--151.55.29.12 (talk) 19:59, 17 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
