There is only one reference cited for this entire article and it's a book by Randy Jackson which has nothing to do with Steve Smith? I'm not a big enough Smith fan to have enough knowledge to improve it, otherwise I might attempt to fix it. If you add info then cite your sources. Somebody had the ambition to go find all the info about his drum kits but yet couldn't cite the source? Higher standards people please. Status4 (talk) 15:14, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Status4This is an old post, but ironic. @80s Sam has been going around (2020+ til recently) to several Journey members wiki pages and adding info about their career that is incorrect and unsourced. Steve Smith was never an official member of Montrose. No matter what the Montrose wiki says—it’s incorrect. A wiki can’t rely on another wiki to prove its fact in a circular reference kind of way. (Example: “Steve was a member of Montrose. The Montrose wiki said he was.” And around and around.) No matter what Sam tries to source with irrelevant and not applicable source material. Not one of the references say Steve was a member of Montrose. Montrose disbanded in 1976. The wiki says that and is sourced. Ronnie release a solo album in 1978 and toured to support it.
