Talk:Stephanie Berman-Eisenberg

It would be helpful to have further guidance from Reddogsix or others in terms of improving this article. I helped create the articles for Carrfour Supportive Housing and Operation Sacred Trust, two significant national models for ending homelessness in America. It seems appropriate to also include an article on Ms. Berman-Eisenberg, who oversees both efforts and has achieved significant notability as a result of the innovative approaches she's developed to end homelessness for thousands.

While there are many other articles that show up in a Google search, it appears the current version of the article includes a good sampling from sources such as The Miami Herald, U.S. Conference of Mayors, South Florida Business Journal, Chamber of Commerce, and Fatherhood Channel. Those are each reputable sources for citations.

As a relative newcomer to Wikipedia, I'd be grateful for specific guidance.

I have a couple of issues with the support provided. First of all the article seems to take on a highly promotional form, I have removed the block quotes that are unencyclopedic in nature to try to minimize that issue. Hanging a quote from the subject does little to support notability of the individual.
Concerning the references, a couple are "in-depth" articles that are right from a PR person's notebook and the rest are a number of single quotes from the subject. If I look at the guidelines for notability the coverage combined with the local awards probably meets the criteria, but I would say by a hair. Please do not remove the COI tag, it it evident their is a conflict of interest by some of the editors.. My best to you. reddogsix (talk) 08:15, 10 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
