Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Always-On DRM as a "criticized" feature

Please stop adding this to the lead as something reviewers and critics brought up and criticized. I am not disputing the fact that the game has Always Online DRM. I am disputing that it is being characterized as a negative when none of the sources appear to have done so. Please provide specific sources showing SCII has been directly criticized for having Always Online DRM. -- ferret (talk) 12:42, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

Mentioning of the Xel'Naga

Hello there. I've read through the top of the article a few times in the past, and always though something was somewhat out of place. Now, that I again glance over the main structure I feel that the 4th race (non-playable) the Xel'Naga aren't mentioned in any way. But in the section on 'Gameplay' the name "Amon" comes dropping from the sky.

its this bit: "The Terran campaign, Wings of Liberty, places players in a mercenary-style campaign, as Terran rebel group Raynor's Raiders raise funds by taking assignments from outside groups. The second release, Heart of the Swarm, is Zerg-focused and has role-playing elements. Kerrigan is the focus of the campaign, and the story revolves around the possibility of her redemption. The Protoss-themed Legacy of the Void will be the final expansion, with the Protoss Artanis attempting to reunite the Protoss tribes in order to stop Amon."

I'm not entirely sure on how this might be resolved. I was thinking that after the word Amon the sentence is concluded with ", a fallen Xel'Naga". But that would raise the problem of mentioning the Xel'Naga without previously being introduced as an appearing race... which compared to Brood War is also increased in importance.

does anyone else feel this? Scourge Splitter (talk) 07:15, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

I've added your suggested addition. Note that this article primarily deals with Wings of Liberty, which didn't discuss Xel'Naga or Amon heavily. The plot sections for the two sister articles StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm and StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void would have further information. -- ferret (talk) 12:11, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
True, I also don't want to attach an entire section on them, it's just that the name came dropping from nowhere, especially since in Wings Of Liberty 'Amon' wasn't known as Amon, but rather 'The Dark Voice'. Scourge Splitter (talk) 10:41, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

General changes

I undid the undo for the tower defence reference. If other popular game modes can have a link, then Tower defense can aswel. I however change the link to "Tower Defense" instead of the 'GEM' stuf (which seems to be a derivative) 195.109.63.17 (talk) 13:07, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

My problem was with "GEM TD" and not "TD". Edit looks fine to me, though explaining your edit in the edit summary would have been appreciated. :) --Izno (talk) 13:19, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
Yeah sorry, I realised that too late. My bad 195.109.63.17 (talk) 13:38, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

Cast List

I did read the regulations regarding this. But way I see it. its total bullcrap. I've read the article on Bioshock which is mentioned there as a "Good example" the paragraph in there is like 4 time LARGER than what is done here..... And this is NOT appropriate?? In what world are we living in??? Wikipedia rules start to make less and less sence by the minute. 195.109.63.17 (talk) 13:05, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

BioShock Infinite has prose that is backed by reliable sources covering the cast in detail. This is different than an indiscriminate list of cast with no context or sourcing. -- ferret (talk) 13:28, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
And what if we were to give the source for the voice actors who worked on it? I can understand the need for sourcing (it always that) but I still cannot agree in principle with the sledgehammer of text thats dropped on you in favour for a short list. 195.109.63.17 (talk) 06:29, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
