Use of a word

edit

I'm not sure what was meant by the word "thrust" that was used in the article, or whether that was a spelling error. The word can mean at least two different things in English: (1) A physical motion that pushes one thing quickly toward another thing, (2) An area of concentration or focus or specialisation.

I thought, at first, that it was a misspelling for the word "trust", and I made some changes to the article, based on that assumption. But now I'm not so sure.

I'd like to respectfully suggest that if the idea of concentration or focus or specialisation was intended, that a different word should be used. It's difficult to know how to express this without giving offence, but the way the word was used in the article brings to mind, for a native speaker of English, a suggestion of sexual activity, specifically the stereotypical male role in sexual activity. I'm sure that's not any intended connexion. I'd suggest the word "focus" be substituted, and I have, in fact made that change.  – OhioStandard (talk) 10:22, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I an unsure as to whether the school is "notable" by WP standards. Collect (talk) 13:29, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
