Requesting Peer Reviews and Feedback for improvements to my article

edit

Hi Experienced Wiki authors,

I have created the following wiki page. This page was later on moved to the User space and then to the Draft space. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Sridevi_Nrithyalaya https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:ChennaiWiki/Sridevi_Nrithyalaya

This article focuses on Indian classical dance form, in particular a style of Bharatanatyam called Melattur. It is familiar in South India. I would appreciate peer reviews and tips on how to improve this article.

Thanks in advance for the help. ChennaiWiki (talk) 04:22, 18 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Dividing the page into clearly divided sections

edit

The information in the page seems to be largely unsegregated. The information needs to be divided into sections such as 'History', 'Awards and Accolades', 'Campus', 'Facilities' etc. The data on the page needs to be put under different sections and more information needs to be added. Not only that, the page also links to external sites implicitly using citations in the 'Notable works' section. Below is an extract from Wikipedia's 'Your first article' guide:

Please do not try to promote your product or business. Please do not insert external links to your commercial website unless a neutral party would judge that the link truly belongs in the article; we do have articles about products like Kleenex or Sharpies, or notable businesses such as McDonald's, but if you are writing about a product or business be sure you write from a neutral point of view, that you have no conflict of interest, and that you are able to find references in reliable sources that are independent from the subject you are writing about.

Hi, The article is NOT created by it's founder as alleged. I don't contribute to many wiki pages does not mean I am some how connected to the organization. I just like the particular Art form called Melattur style of Bharatanatyam that this particular dance school teaches and promotes.

Please guide me and allow me to go through and Fix any corrections needed. There's so much in the published media in Madras about this art form and about the school. Some of it is in local languages.

Seems this article is contributed by its founder and is created by someone closely related to it. I feel there's a conflict of interest.

The page is already tagged as having been COI-edited, and the founder's account has not edited for over three years. No admin action is required here. Yunshui  14:18, 12 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
