page name edit
The title has a strange prefix -- "Fast novel". Just because it was written by Howard Fast, does not make it a "Fast novel" (sic). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.71.0.180 (talk) 10:48, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- It's correct though, per Wikipeia guidelines on topic titles. There's another Spartacus novel, so author name is needed to distinguish them. (Sadly the other author isn't Mr Slow ): Lessthanideal (talk) 00:23, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Article vs. book section edit
I think we need to pare this down, as it now dominates the article, and substitute a plot summary. Coretheapple (talk) 14:30, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
- A late reply, but i have removed the entire section. it cited no sources, suggesting it was original research. This is a common problem in articles on historical fiction or books that were made into movies. Simply adding our own observations about the differences between the book, movie, or historical record doesn’t cut it, as always there must be sources to back it up. Need for references edit
I have just added a references section - to hold the reference that I added, which is currently the only reference. Doesn’t the article need more citations? Jzimba (talk) 20:13, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
