Southern platyfish → Platy — "Platy" gets many, many more Google hits than "southern platyfish". Most aquarium help sites and forums also refer to it simply as "platy", as well as major pet store chains. Oppose Articles on fish are usually titled (though I can find no naming convention) based on the name given in FishBase which, in this case, is Southern platyfish. Skinsmoke (talk) 03:34, 17 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Oppose and revert the unilateral move of Platy (disambiguation) from Platy. Since that move by the nominator for this one is clearly related, if this fails, the other should be reverted. It should also be noted that the plural form Platies does not go to the Southern platyfish. 76.66.193.119 (talk) 04:42, 18 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
