Can they be kept as pets? Please say yes, I want one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.122.63.142 (talk) 15:25, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Most of the content belongs to Pedetes as the genus is not monotypic anymore. Springhare should properly redirect there, as it does not clearly refer to one or the other species. Springhaas (the Afrikaans name) should redirect to P. capensi` however. Dysmorodrepanis (talk) 02:08, 3 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Note also that I had to remove most sources, as they were WP:TERTIARY and not WP:RS. Several of these sources aggregate Wikipedia content and are therefore border on WP:CLONE which are completely banned from use as WP sources. 02:08, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
