<Cityname> <City>
edit
There is a discussion regarding the removal of the word "city" from the article titles of Philippine cities. For city names which are not unique, disambiguation alternatives are also being presented. Formal request for page move may follow after a reasonable time of discussion. If you wish to participate, please post your comments here. --JinJian (talk) 05:17, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- No issue here. I ready your detailed proposal, it seems logical. In any case, Sorsogon City doesn't fall into such category that wouldn't need the "city" label anymore. Maverik (talk) 13:15, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
People from Sorsogon City
editMost of the ones on the list are based on my own opinion. I would like to know the insights from the others how to make this more interesting or, perhaps, something that will show a fair list of people.
Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maverik (talk • contribs) 00:10, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
Adding Pictures
editThis picture, picture, is not your own work, Jeonorfolk. I know because I have the same set of pictures from a website of an American university. There are other old pix of Sorsogon under it, and its their collection not yours. Please delete this content or update your source, otherwise, it will be deleted from this article.
By the way, the same picture appears on this blog.
Thank you. Maverik (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 04:26, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- Since this picture is hosted on Commons, the discussion should be held there.
But I don't think it would need to be deleted: considering its age, it is now in public domain. It just needs its license revised. -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 13:22, 3 December 2014 (UTC) - Correction: the picture is by Harry Fowler Woods who died in 1955, so not yet PD. Deletion discussion started on Commons, see here. -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 13:45, 3 December 2014 (UTC)

Bagatao and Sablayan islands
editBagatao and Sablayan Islands are not under the jurisdiction of Sorsogon City, and yet in one of the images in the article they are highlighted, indicating that they are so. May I request the creator of the image to un-highlight those islands.

I also updated the talk pages of the maps of the towns of Magallanes and Juban regarding the inaccuracy of the maps.Maverik (talk) 16:30, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
Sorsogon City Mayors
editUnder the section Sorsogon City#City_Government, there's a list of vice-mayors of the city. However, the first 3 names were mayors of the former town of Sorsogon (eventually merged with Bacon town on 2001). These names - Mr. Duran, Mr. Delgado and Mr. Tabuena - should be removed from the list. The first city mayor was Sally Lee.16:05, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
