Self citations edit

User:MrOllie Thanks for caring about the page. You have reverted today's contributions as "citespam". We believe this is incorrect, they refer to scientific concepts backed-up with peer-review articles, of encyclopedic nature. How to fix the wrong revert? Thanks --Martin — Preceding unsigned comment added by Martin.monperrus (talkcontribs) 18:53, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Excessive self-citation is citespam - this is not incorrect. Wikipedia isn't a venue for self promotion. - MrOllie (talk) 19:14, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

User:MrOllie I agree Wikipedia isn't a venue for self promotion. We believe you have removed important information, related to the scientific body of knowledge on software diversity. How do you assess the encyclopedic quality of a contribution before removing it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.217.227.29 (talk) 19:24, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
