Map

edit

Could someone who has the required software to edit SVG files please make a suitable version of this great map at Commons. The translations of terms in German are given and the transliteration that is suitable is the one I just entered in this article. Thanks in advance!   → Тодор Божинов / Todor Bozhinov 08:41, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Done. Translated it in Inkscape and loaded it here. --Lantonov (talk) 10:32, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Update Map

edit

Since the Levski - Mladost part of line 1 starts running tomorrow (May 8, 2009), I guess someone (whoever knows how) should update the map accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.187.18.43 (talk) 15:55, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Мария Луиза: Maria Luiza or Maria Luisa?

edit

The knyaginya was an italian princess born in Rome as Maria Luisa Pia Teresa Anna Ferdinanda Francesca Antonietta Margherita Giuseppina Carolina Bianca Lucia Apollonia di Borbone-Parma (see "Early life" on Princess Marie Louise of Bourbon-Parma). Writing "Luiza" is wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.51.58.110 (talk) 22:01, 4 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Maria Luiza is the correct transliteration of the Bulgarian spelling Мария Луиза. Please see the image with the official transliteration Maria Luiza in latin letters used inside the metro station

Native name

edit

The official native name of the metro system is "Софийски метрополитен" (Sofiyski metropoliten), Софийско метро (Sofiysko metro) is used in colloquial language. Also, the native name of the operator is Metropoliten EAD and not Metropolitan EAD. Metropolitan is an incorrect translation of Metropoliten (from Russian: subway) and has a completely different meaning in English. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.91.170.33 (talk) 09:30, 21 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
