Discography information

For discography: What about "Snuff Garrett and The Fifty Guitars"? I believe that somewhere in my record collection I have a couple of good old vinyl LP's. In the '70's I quite liked some of his 50 guitar music. O.K., I've just found one: "The Best of The 50 Guitars of Tommy Garrett" Stereo SLYL-933,269 Made in Australia by Festival Records Pty. Limited. Producer: Tommy "Snuff" Garrett. A Snuff Garrett Production. Side 1: Guadalajara, Maria Elena, La Bamba, Love Me With All Your Heart (Cuando Calienta El Sol), The Girl From Ipanema, Spanish Eyes. Side 2: Mexican Hat Dance, Guantanamera, La Negra, El Relicario, The good, The Bad and The Ugly (Il Brutto, Il Buono ed Il Cattivo). On the rear of the dust cover I read: Other 50 Guitars of Tommy Garrett Albums ... 50 Guitars Go South of The Border Vol. 1.. (S)LYL-32,535; 50 Guitars Go South of The border Vol. 2.. (S)LYL-32,643; 50 Guitars Go Italiano..S)LYL-32,625; Six Flags Over Texas..(S)LYL-32,511; Viva Mexico! ..(S)LYL-32,565; Love Songs From South of The Border..LYX-11,377; 50 Guitars Visit Hawaii..(S)LYL-32,540; 50 Guitars Return To Paradise ..(S)LYL-32,555; 50 Guitars In A Brazilian Mood..(S)LYL-32,582; 50 Guitars in Love..(S)LYL-32,639.

Well, I hope someone out there can recall some of these. It seemed a pity to omit such a proficuous contribution made by Snuff Garrett to my many hours of listening music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.11.131.186 (talk) 20:03, 21 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

What in the world does "proficuous" mean? Zephyrad 15:31, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

In 1959, Garrett became a staff producer at Liberty Records in Hollywood at the age of 19...

If Garrett was born in 1938, wouldn't he have celebrated his 20th birthday in 1958? How could he have been 19 in 1959? 66.162.249.170 (talk) 03:37, 18 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

I was thinking the same thing. I've gone and removed it. Graham87 07:01, 14 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
