Surely we have an obvious parallel in the goddess Rosmerta whose name means "Great provider" according to Delamarre and the personal names Smerturix, Smertuccius and Smertuca? What's this about there being no Celtic derivation? Paul S (talk) 13:24, 10 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
