does this airline really exist? edit

I feel like if there was really an airline serving five Central European destinations from Keflavik Iceland, I might have heard of it before... also it should be noted that though they claim to serve South America, their "hub airport" only has an 8500 foot runway... 72.0.180.2 (talk) 08:25, 3 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Smartwings flight QS-1125 edit

Does this flight safety incident deserve its own entry? Last month on July 24, 2020, the Czech Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) released the final report by the Air Accidents Investigation Institute (AAII), in Czech ÚZPLN - Ústav pro odborné zjišťování příčin leteckých nehod, which blamed the incident on the captain failing to follow mandatory procedures, namely, to land as soon as possible at a diversion airport after an engine failure.[1] As of July 2020 the captain Pavel Veselý continues to pilot Smartwings flights.[2] This is a current event as reportedly there is still an open police investigation.-Yohananw (talk) 16:42, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
