San Francisco or Los Angeles

The pilot episode clearly takes place in San Francisco. Is there any evidence that subsequent episodes take place in Los Angeles? Or should the city be unnamed? Geoff/Gsl 22:17, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

It says on the DVD box that Sledge works for the SFPD. However having been to both LA and SF on vacation the series looks like LA as it has none of the hills you would associate with San Fran. Holden 27

In one of the episodes when Sledge exits his apartment, the text "San Francisco (something)" is written on the parking area. Lapinmies 08:27, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

The gun doesn't have a name, Sledge only sometimes refers to it as his "amigo". Interestingly, in the dubbed German version, the gun does have a name: Susie. --MartinSL 14:03, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

There was something like a "10 most asked questions" clip on the Sledge Hammer DVD Set, and the question about the gun's name was also included. Alan Spencer said there is no such name, at least not in the original English language version. --MartinSL 06:19, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

In the German dub, the gun is called "Susi" (Suzy). But as others had said, in the original it is nameless.193.16.3.37 (talk) 12:11, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Internation Versions

Greetings Pratyya - you edit suggests to me that you are not familiar with the Sledge Hammer! television show that aired on the ABC (United States) television network during 1986 through 1988 Trust Me - I Know What I Am Doing! is the tagline of the main character (Sledge Hammer) that he oft repeated through every episode of the television show.
