Object of Snap

It seems that two and a half years ago, when Snap had its own article, an anonymous editor changed it (see also two following edits) to completely invert the object of Snap. Finally fixed.—Dah31 (talk) 04:51, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Reading the article, the game called SNAP seems to be what this is mainly about. I propose moving this article to "Snap (card game)" unless I hear any objections before 30th June 2011. Sarah777 (talk) 23:30, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

This article is about the 52-deck card game called slapjack. The kids matching game with the picture decks is under the 'variation' section. The snap disambiguation page link to that section - not the article's intro. You can make an argument for creating a separate Snap article (a book on the history of card games might shed light on their development), but you can't move the page as they are two separate games. Egyptian Ratscrew

Splitting proposal

Looks like the merge of the old snap (card game) article was never discussed, back in 2009. Snap seems like an iconic enough traditional game to merit its own full article. I suggest unmerging them. --Lord Belbury (talk) 14:06, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
