Unrelated to why the article was moved to draftspace, but I understand that the convention for Singapore-related articles is to have the subject reflected in all the official languages of Singapore (i.e. English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil), or just English. I think that should be followed here too. I'll add them myself if I can find the translations, but if not, I would propose removing the Chinese name. In any event, I wasn't able to locate where it's from on a quick Google search. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 12:16, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Kohlrabi Pickle: by searching for the Chinese name itself, you can see that the local Chinese news report the organisation as such: i.e. https://www.sgsme.sg/cn/news/story20201203-66709. – robertsky (talk) 13:13, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
That's helpful, thanks. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 13:59, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Robertsky, using a combination of Google Translate and that method, I've found the name in Malay. It's "Persekutuan Perniagaan Singapura", per [1]. I used Google Translate for Tamil too, and got "சிங்கப்பூர் வணிக கூட்டமைப்பு", but a Google search didn't yield any results. What do you think - should I add it anyway? As far as I can tell, this is the best we have because official translations don't exist in any language other than English. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 14:09, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Kohlrabi Pickle: I managed to rack my brain for a resource that I had encountered while doing English-Chinese translations for another project: https://www.translatedterms.gov.sg/. Based on this site, the name in respective languages are:
Tamil: சிங்கப்பூர் தொழில் சம்மேளனம்; Malay: Persekutuan Perniagaan Singapura; Chinese: 新加坡工商联合总会. – robertsky (talk) 14:20, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Brilliant! Thanks a ton. Kohlrabi Pickle (talk) 17:18, 4 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
