@Netherzone @FloridaArmy @Trainsandotherthings I think there's enough here so I restored. It's not one I have time to work on right now though. I'll keep it on my watchlist so we don't lose it in the future. Star Mississippi 18:36, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Star Mississippi, it's almost ready for mainspace; I'll look for a couple reliable sources to add, then I think it will be good to go. Netherzone (talk) 18:42, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Star Mississippi, I made some improvements, and added a couple sources, and another image. I'm not a train person at all, but there are a lot of train and railroad enthusiasts on WP. I will leave it up to you whether you think it is ready for article space, or if a railroad person would like to develop it more. The NARA doc has a lot more information about the two railroad cars, but I am totally clueless as to what some of the technical terms mean or whether they are of importance for an encyclopedia article, so I don't know how to prioritize what should be in the article or not. Thanks! I accepted it. I think it's fine for mainspace and anything else can be added. Thanks for all of your work on it (and @Liz for tagging it so the notice crossed our watchlists) Star Mississippi 01:38, 9 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm very late here, but the article looks ok for mainspace, although reference 5 isn't an acceptable reference. Stuff on the NRHP is usually presumed notable, for better or for worse. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 14:32, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I removed the sentence and source; it seems to have been one of Doncram's notes to himself. In looking for a solid source to replace it, all I found were travel guides and a book published by Arcadia Publishing Inc.. There have been several discussions (with no solid outcome) on whether or not Arcadia is a RS, so I did not use it. If something more substantial is found in the future, it can be added to the article. Netherzone (talk) 15:32, 14 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
