This article is a translation of the corresponding one in the German Wikipedia. As you might have guessed, I'm no native speaker and I would appreciate it, if someone could put the language straight. I'd be happy to have a go at putting the language straight, if you'll allow me. I shan't change any of the meaning, it simply sounds occasionally as though it has been written by... well, a German :P

Ok, thank you very much. Indeed, it does sound more like English to my ears now ;-) The changes are ok, except: Behrend focused more on classical than contemporary music. What I wanted to say is: classical contemporary music as opposed to pop music (as with Belina). Perhaps contemporary art music would be a solution? What do you think? In Germany, there generally is a rather sharp distinction between so called E-Musik (E= ernst: serious, art music) and U-Musik (U=Unterhaltung: entertainment, popular (including folk) music). I see what you're saying. I'm English but I think I can speak accurately when I say that that distinction is new to me. My understanding of music is that it is always a form of entertainment in some manner so this concept is for me a bit odd. Perhaps "more on contemporary art music than the popular music of the time" or something along those lines would be more appropriate.
