Suicide

The acquired vision page says that Bradford committed suicide because he was unable to work as a mechanic due to the confusion brought on by his regained sight. Is that deliberately omitted here or is it incorrect on the acquired vision page?

Bradford Suicide Not Cited Properly

The citation for Bradford's suicide, if you do a search provided by Google Books, appears to be factually inaccurate. No result for Bradford, Sidney, and other searches using its full text search feature do not reveal the citation listed. As this was added during a brief period of vandalism, I am inclined to disbelieve its authenticity. Comment removed until actual verification of source, page number included, can be presented. I hope I'm doing this properly.

You may be right, but there is no need to completely remove the text, it just needs a {{failed verification}} tag. I did find 2 other reliable sources that states he died less than 2 years after the surgery and have added them. I did removed the mention on suicide for now though. Thank you for finding those additional citations! I looked them up and they seem to check out for me too. I was not aware of the "failed verification" tag, as I'm still new to this so thanks! Indeed, while the citations do mention his death now, it would be marvelous if we could find some sort of direct source (interview with family? Obituary? Found an additional book citation that clarifies he was, in fact, a machinist and that cause of death is unknown. Added and corrected text accordingly.FACT CHECKING ALIEN (talk) 21:24, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
