Micheal Shea a very interesting man and used to work in a bar/grill. Then he decided to change his path. He started making houses that showed movies and cartoons but with no sound. Then once the movies were created he started working. He first made a movie house that would show movies to people and Michael made money off of that but he was still wanting more. so that's when Shea's poped in his head. He made Shea's performing art center around the age of 35 or 36. After he was totally done with it he was very satisfied with his work. He had gotten all the celings carved by hand and all the chandaleers with at least 100 beads on each. Michael Shea was very pleased, but Michael wanted something else. He wanted to have performences, but he didn't want to be in them he wanted to display them like little dolls you see in stores. everyone came to Shea's and everyone smoked. Soon the cellings were coated with tar and nicotine. They had to redo those cellinga about ten years ago from now. But real question is how did Michael Shea die? no really knows. Some people say that he died from old age at the age of 74. others say he was killed in the thearater one night at an opening show for one season. They think that someone shot him right in the hearrt and now he's haunting the place to keep it from knocking down. Once a long time ago people wanted to knock it down but a group of people protested and finally got there way. So the Congress made a register for Shea's stating that this monumental palace could not be removed or replaced without a written comment and then it had to be passed up to Congress. Over all the mytery still haunts us and someday maybe we'll find out the mystery of it all.
