- I'm not familiar with the spot, but my guess is it means its foundations, what are often called "pilings" in these parts; many mills were built over the water, like canneries etc.Skookum1 (talk) 01:08, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, that's correct; the support pilings are still embedded in the lakebed, and there are (or were) also the remains of some old mill hardware in the woods. I'm not certain the engine bits are still there, because my family moved from the area about ten years ago. 207.216.14.38 (talk) 10:10, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
