• The Heartbreak Kid contains too much material and should be whittled back to three paragraphs with highlights.

• This article receives circa 5000 views daily. It has a significant number of dead links or links that have been superseded and no longer address the text. The article suffers from WP:PROSELINE in that it resembles a record of very bout Michaels has participated in, and as such, does not resemble an encyclopaedia entry. Significant editing and paring down of the article is required, for it cannot stay in the current form of autobiography of a wrestler that it is. All references cited need attention, and there are too many images, some of which are noted as irrelevant or not necessary. The article is needing a full rewrite.
• Sections such as Heartbreak Kid (1992–1995), WWF Champion (1996–1998), First retirement and hiatus (1998–2002), Feud with Triple H (2002–2004), D-Generation X reunion (2005–2007), Various feuds and championship pursuits (2007–2009), WWE Hall of Famer and sporadic appearances (2010–2018) all suffer from too much text, too much data, WP:PROSELINE and can be trimmed back to three paragraphs each. --Whiteguru (talk) 12:21, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

We don't generally suggest that dead links aren't suitable for a GA, or delist because the references are no longer live.
