District and town in the province of Isfahan, Persia (Iran). The location described in the 1911 article makes me think this might be Qomsheh, which is now named Shahreza. (1911 Britannica almost always transliterated the Arabic/Persian K sound as "K", whereas we now use "Q"; "Iraq" for example)
