Neutral point of view and distortion of facts in this Wikipedia article edit
Wikipedia articles should be in a neutral point of view. In recent months this article on Sense Bank had become changed (by anonymous editors) into an unreadable mess that obscured the russian ownership of the bank and made the bank look like it was the vanguard of Ukrainian nationalism instead. Especially the last weeks a lot of opinions (falsely represented as fact) where inserted into the article to made it look like nationalising of this bank was a horrible thing to do. I do not know if that is the case, but Wikipedia should not have opinions about government policies.
Obviously Wikipedia is not a tool to make readers believe your own personal point of view either.
I don't know what happened, incompetent editing or just malicious intent. But the article had become a parody of the truth until I attempted to fix it today. This article is written in a very complicated way, but the facts are simple: hohols stole the bank. In 1956, egyptians stole the Suez Canal from rightful british and french owners, who then waged a war to regain it. Only because of american impotence in the face of soviet H-bomb threats did the militarily successful campaign end in political disaster. Similarly, Russia has every right to wage war against the Ukranian SSR to regain the Sense Bank and the USA is no longer potent enough to prevent that, which also means EU (France) and Britain will need to retreat just like they did in 1956.
