Opposition Platform — For LifeEdit

Hi

I will create an article about Opposition Platform — For Life alliance but the first article should be moved to For Life because it is still the official name of the party. And I will crate an article for the OB-PPD. --Panam2014 (talk) 14:21, 24 March 2019 (UTC) But I have a question, why For Life website have been changed and now calls the party OP-FL? --Panam2014 (talk) 14:25, 24 March 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for creating the articles! Good job. Yes, For Life on their website call themselves OP-FL. But that just seem to be done for PR reasons. I did not read that they changed the name legally. You might have also noticed that the site completely ignores "their candidate", for the Presidential election, Yuriy Boyko. Again, I have no idea why they do so.... — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 23:05, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Joke?Edit

Hi

Is is a joke when Zelsensky claimed that he will not contest the election? --Panam2014 (talk) 15:19, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

There were many comments [1]. I like that one: "Animals in the circus voted for the friendly clown, in protest against the drunk trainer who steal their food. Only parrots and jackals, fed by leftovers from the master's table, opposed it." Reminds Animal Farm with its Old Major. My very best wishes (talk) 15:33, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay in answering... Obviously (see Talk:Volodymyr_Zelensky#Mistakes in 2019 presidential election program) I am not the right person to edit Wikipedia right now.... I don't think My very best wishes answered your question Panam2014 (but I do enjoy reading his insights/thoughts). The problem with Zelensky is that he has not really communicated (at least according the the Ukrainian sources I read) what he wants and when he is making a joke and when not.... Even when he becomes a bit specific (like here) it still could mean anything.... ("pressure must not be put on the Russian language" might not mean he wants to abolish the 2017 Ukrainian law on education par example) — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 23:00, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

No, I think your editing is fine, and you are welcome to contribute. I wonder how they are going to debate. Probably just like here. My very best wishes (talk) 22:18, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

RadaEdit

Hi

How many deputies are with Opposition Bloc — Party for Peace and Development, with Opposition Bloc, with For Life, and with OP-FL? --Panam2014 (talk) 22:33, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Since the website of the Ukrainian parliament does not give information about this I do not know... (5 persons were removed from the faction of Opposition Bloc (including Yuriy Boyko) so I assume they went to OP-FL and probably also to For Life....). User:Севастополец does seem to know the number deputies of For Life.... But I don't know how he got that information.... — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 23:17, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
So, Boyko kept the party but the faction is with OB-PPD? And Boyko have not yet formed his own group? --Panam2014 (talk) 17:52, 8 April 2019 (UTC)

Yes it seems that the faction of Opposition Bloc in parliament is now controlled by OB-PPD.... Boyko and Vadim Rabinovich have an own "Interfactional Union" of OB-FL. I can not find information on how big this Interfactional Union of OB-FL is.... these Unions can be big, but also comprising of 1 man.... If OB-FL wants to create their own parliamentary faction they need 15 Mp's to do so.... I assume that they could not convince 13 people more to join them..... — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 18:19, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Members of the Rada's factions are members of the Opposition Bloc — Party for Peace and Development, not of the Opposition Bloc. So we should put in the article OB the numbers of MP members of the OB, not the OB-PPD. --Panam2014 (talk) 00:17, 21 April 2019 (UTC)

Also, how many MP are members of FL and members of OP-FL? --Panam2014 (talk) 00:19, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
