Done, but I'm a bit confused. Google Maps does label the location at the coordinates you've given as "As-Sala'", and the OpenStreetMap labels it with the Arabic السلع and the symbol for an archaeological site; but OSM also has an archaeological site labeled "Sela" at the coordinates that were formerly in the article. The article describes the location of Sela as "east of Tafileh in Jordan", whereas the new coordinates are southwest of Tafileh. If anyone can resolve this apparent contradiction, I'm sure that it would be appreciated. Deor (talk) 20:10, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

"Net" reference edit

When I split the text into paragraphs, I applied the "Net" reference to all parts of the initially one long paragraph. I wasn't able to check the source, so this might be wrong. Who can check it up or edit it based on other sources? No time... Thanks! Arminden (talk) 09:26, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

One article, two topics. Not just one. We must make it crystal clear to the user. edit

The article is about TWO topics: the name Sela in the Bible, used for various places or as a common noun; and the one biblical Sela actually identified with an archaeological site, Sela' in Jordan near Tafileh. All elements of the page must reflect this: the infobox, lead (very much so!), section headings, section contents. Arminden (talk) 04:41, 1 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
