The six Scouting Ireland Provinces, Dublin Scout Province, Northern Scout Province, North Eastern Scout Province, Western Scout Province, Southern Scout Province and South Eastern Scout Province are really nothing more than a list of Scout Groups. For other countries such as Singapore (see The Singapore Scout Association) and UK (see the main England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland articles linked from Template:Scouts UK Counties), these lists have been removed. This was done in the UK by merging a large number of articles on Counties/Areas/Regions into articles on the EU approved regions, covering all Scout organisations, not just the Scout Association. These lists of groups become essentially original research as, mainly IP editors, add, alter or delete information on their own Group with no references. They are unmaintainable. They should therefore be deleted from these Scouting Ireland Province articles. However that will leave very little. Can they be expanded like the UK ones have? Or should they be deleted and some material merged to Scouting Ireland Provinces? The general principle of this approach as been discussed on the Scouting WikiProject and there was consensus for this kind of approach.
