Re: Dr Luke edit

The singer confirmed on Twitter he was incorrectly credited on this song. See hereMelodies1917 (talk) 20:41, 9 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Melodies1917: No she did not. Quote "It's produced by [Cirkut] and another kid MHL who have production agreements with Luke." She never said Luke was incorrectly credited. Hayman30 (talk) 03:22, 10 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
She did but she removed the tweets like she does with most of the clarifications she has with fans. Just like some of the images that circulated on Twitter and Idolator based their article on had his name as a producer were manipulated and edited by fans. See here as they mention Iggy clarified any credits that have him as a producer are not true. Dr. Luke did not produce the track but whether he had anything to do with it or not fact is his name does not appear in the producing credits on any virtual music stores so I'd say that's what Wikipedia should have as well. What if the credits were legitimately wrong before they got fixed (this is assuming his name was actually ever listed as a producer in the first place)? Who are any of us to speculate on whether he did or didn't produce, his name should be removed since he doesn't appear as a producer anywhere else. Only his real name is listed as a songwriter/composer, everything else is speculation at this point. 94.132.192.46 (talk)17:08, 10 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
See this story. That tweet was deleted and it was confirmed that Luke was intentionally removed from the credits as a co-writer/co-producer streaming services, and he is currently still listed on ASCAP as a co-writer. After all, Luke is a co-writer and a co-producer of the song period. Hayman30 (talk) 11:24, 12 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
You left out the part where she said "Their deals and who they are tied in with business wise in no way make ME ‘working’ with Dr Luke. Try again." I did see that on ASCAP, but there's a chance it could be wrong. I mean, Kylie Jenner was listed as a performer on a Terror Jr song in ASCAP about a year or so ago leading several news outlets to "confirm" she was the singer, but she's not.Melodies1917 (talk) 16:17, 12 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Melodies1917: She didn't say it was a mistake. The fact that the guy "MHL" isn't even credited in the first place proves that Azalea herself is not a reliable source. Regardless, that tweet was deleted. And according to you, there's a chance that everything on the internet is "wrong" and we couldn't cite anything as a source and this entire encyclopedia wouldn't have existed.
