The article states, She is not related to any of the other (pro-apartheid) political Bothas of South Africa, including P.W. Botha or Pik Botha. This is not quite accurate. Sandra Botha and Pik Botha are both descendants of Frederich Botha. A very distant relationship, it is true, but a relationship nonetheless. P.W. Botha is a descendant of Theunis Botha, Frederich's step-son, whom he legally adopted, so at least in the eyes of the law, it is legitimate to see PW Botha as a relation also. Another point: Both the bloodline (from Frederich Botha) and the adoptive line (through Theunis Botha) descend from Frederich's wife, Maria Kickers (Theunis was her own illegitimate son).
