Miss saigon: edit

The SJR theater dept. touts our showing as the world high school premiere. This was researched extensively by our director,Gaylord Asselta and musical Director Neil Burg, and it would not have been touted if it were false. The Mary D. Bradford High School is presenting their show a full year after ours has been completed, and if anyone is claiming it wrongly, it is them. Until it can be proven otherwise, the title of world high school premiere will stand. ~Mike Greco (Class of '08) 67.85.94.38 00:50, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The world high school premiere of Miss Saigon took place in 2006 at St. Joseph Regional in Montvale, New Jersey. Working with MTI (Musical Theater International), the school launched the show on an experimental basis, to see if it was feasible on a high school level. It proved successful, and numerous high schools have since undertaken the production. ~MG 67.85.94.38 03:09, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Student Sub-Culture Traditions edit

Certain jokes have become legacies at SJR these include, but are not limited to:

  • The pool that Freshman all look for but does not exist.
  • The "hidden" elevator.
  • Going to "The Box Lady"
  • Being given a Detention slip disguised as a Christmas Card.
  • Joining the play because "Ya like Girls? Join the Play"
  • Yelling "Healy!" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.81.194.197 (talk) 18:53, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Guys, please leave this out of the main page. Yeah, it's true... but this isn't encyclopedic info, allright? Post all the dumb SJR jokes you want here, in the discussion page. That's what it's for. ~Mike Greco (Class of '08) 67.85.94.38 00:52, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
