What was the builder's name?

edit

Between the text and the info box, it is variously listed as Barrow, Barrows, and Burrows. --Badger151 (talk) 20:01, 24 January 2010 (UTC) Barrow Shipbuilding Co. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vickers_Shipbuilding_and_Engineering —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.175.189.59 (talk) 19:16, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Very bad crossing

edit

We are told that City of Rome, near the end of her life, made a very bad crossing of 13 days, from 27 September to 8 October. The interval is actually 11 days. Is one of the dates wrong, or is the arithmetic? J S Ayer (talk) 21:05, 15 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Consort

edit

She was unpopular because she lacked a suitable consort - could someone who knows the context add something to explain what a consort is and explain why it would make the ship unprofitable in this context? Thanks! 2601:584:300:345E:ABC5:1788:8C57:F556 (talk) 05:36, 23 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
