The article contains a string of words which is obscure, probably due to faulty punctuation:
- "In this year's election, Andrei Brezhnev was the candidate for the Parliament of Crimea and Sevastopol, Crimea was unilaterally annexed from Ukraine by the Russian Federation in early 2014, but the party did not win any seats.[5][6]"
Did the editor mean to have two sentences separated between Sevastopol and Crimea? If so, the editor made the error called "comma splice." As it is, Crimea looks like a region in which the city of Sevastopol is located. I think what the editor meant was
- "In this year's election, Andrei Brezhnev was the candidate for the Parliament of Crimea and Sevastopol, but neither Brezhnev nor any other member of his party won any seats. It may be noted that Crimea was unilaterally annexed from Ukraine by the Russian Federation in early 2014,[5][6]"
