External Links edit

Hey guys how about linking to Rooney's A.D.D. bio on MTV.com? Its exclusive content and Its a pretty cool piece on the band. Check it out and see if you want to add it to the external link page. The URL is http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1564408&vid=161626--Chasingemy 20:11, 23 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please note that Chasingemy is an MTV employee. — Carl (CBM · talk) 20:51, 23 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

So I'm an MTV employee...but Carl this link is content that is exclusive to MTV.com. I'm only trying to enhance the article not spam. I put it on this page so the editor can put it up at their own discretion. Thanks. --Chasingemy 21:41, 23 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

POV POLICE NEEDED HERE!!!! edit

Wow.

"This time they got it right."

Very encylopediac. 24.14.83.138 06:10, 20 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Singles edit

In the release media section, a singles section differentiated from the EP's section would be nice. --Blitzvergnugen (talk) 08:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:RooneyIsABand.jpg edit

Image:RooneyIsABand.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Who is going to fix? Need it be me? edit

This article SUCKS. Robert Carmine [then and now again Schwartzman] was already in the band at the time of Mastedonia's release. You want a source? I have the EP and bought it live at a show and saw him on stage.. Come on, this article is garbage thus far. Anyone interested in helping clean it? Hrhadam (talk) 21:27, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

It sure does. This is the worst writing I have ever seen, which is a shame for a group of such really nice guys who have shown extraordinary dedication. C'mon, someone who is familiar with the group, revise the whole thing to at least a high-school standard of writing style.Tbonge (talk) 12:55, 24 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Short of Encyclopedic edit

This article has been tagged and lacking in citations for a year and a half now. Even worse, its only two cited sources are a fansite and promotional video. While I suppose the band qualifies for an article on Wikipedia, the brunt of the information contained in this should be removed until it can be re-introduced with proper references. Even though a year and a half is plenty of time to allow for corrections, I'll leave it be for a couple more days to allow interested editors a chance to get it up to speed. Beyond that, encyclopedic standard will need to be enforced.

New Member edit

Replacing Matthew Winter, in May 2010, is Brandon Schwartzel (formerly of Castledoor, I believe). This should be in this article, as it is very important when a band introduces a new member, especially when replacing an original member. The band showed this on a YouTube video a few days ago, so it is extremely recent, but as soon as possible, I believe it should be mentioned in the article. Oh and (this is obvious but I feel I should still mention it) he is the new bassist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.95.160.185 (talk) 20:45, 23 May 2010 (UTC) ........... Lets all thank Ned Brower here for responding to my forum post and helping us fix this crap..... If he reads this, thanks Ned. Much appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.95.163.9 (talk) 03:01, 29 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
