RipienoRipieno (music) – This article currently reads rather as a dictionary page, especially due to the last two sentences of the present version (permanent link) "Furthermore, the term can be used to refer to a fruit sorbet stuffed into its own shell such as limone ripieno. The similar term in French is givré.". This seems utterly irrelevant to the content of the rest of the article. I therefore propose to move this page to the above, remove the last two sentences and transfer them to the Wiktionary page, and add a Wiktionary link to the end of the page. Thoughts, anyone?

@Omnipaedista: ... Which is what? A sorbet or a musical term? (I don't know much about sorbets; this is a genuine question on my part!) WT79 (speak to | editing analysis | edit list) 22:02, 17 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
The primary topic would be the musical term (please see oxfordreference.com). --Omnipaedista (talk) 04:08, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I'm more than willing to believe this, in which case our proposal is therefore no move but add hatnote and wiktionary link as before preposed. WT79 (speak to | editing analysis | edit list) 20:37, 18 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think the musical term is dominant, but it's moot until there are other articles with the name. Italian is the only language with a disambiguation page for the topic, it:Ripieno (disambigua). Ripieno in a food sense in Italian is just stuffing (not just the dessert), but the Italian word is not used enough in English for it to be mentioned there. The dessert is mentioned briefly in sorbet under the French name givré (which redirects there; Spanish es:Givré is the only language that has a page for it). For now, the best solution seems to be to add the term there and a hatline disambiguation here. Really the organ stop should have a separate page as well (as it does in Italian at it:Ripieno (registro d'organo)), but since it's not (yet) mentioned on mixture (organ stop) or anywhere I haven't changed anything.
