Flanagan, Neil A., ed. (1988). "SEARBY, Richard Henry". Biographical register 1880–1974. Corpus Christi College. p. 499.
Flanagan 1988, p. 499 has early life and education information. Whitton 1987 has more. In addition to the plenty of books on the history of Rupert Murdoch that also talk about his friend (since school) Searby, there are also profiles of the man from the 1980s by Harold Evans and by The Spectator.
