Quotes

edit

I'm not against profanity in articles, but I am a bit uneasy about it in these quotes. The episode did not contain the words 'fuck', 'dick', et cetera. They were bleeped, and in my opinion the quotations should reflect this. - DynSkeet * Talk 12:26, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Brock's Hair

edit

How/why exactly does Brock lose his mullet after the explosion in the lab? Should it be listed under Trivia or Goofs? 80.47.197.186 13:12, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't think it explicitly shows it, but it's assumed to have been burned off, possibly when H.E.L.P.eR. first tries to drive the car out of the hangar and causes a fire. If anyone wants to try to pinpoint it, it might be a good addition to trivia, although it isn't a goof. - DynSkeet * Talk 13:44, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
I believe it was burned off, because earlier, the windshield wipers are wiping the mullet; before leaving the Venture hangar.

The 'evil twin absorbed in the womb' plot also appears in Stephen King's 'The Dark Half'.

Prisoner

edit

I believe one of the prisoners in the scared straight program is the present day student living in Rusty and Brock's dorm room in the "Past Tense" episode when Team Venture locates Rusty's molar homing device. Any thoughts? (related to the characters, not my grammar!)

Accident?

edit

I'm pretty certain that the gun does not "accidentally" go off at the end of the episode. After all, 21 & 24 are talking at the beginning of that scene about how all of the tasks assigned to them by the Monarch have been completed, except for "kill the Venture Brothers." I'll leave it the way it is for a few days to allow time for discussion, then change it. Gh05t 20:07, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

yes it's an accident. 21 states he's looking for a place for ammo for the gun, and neither of them recognize the Venture Bros. -th1rt3en 04:22, 21 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Clothes or Clones?

edit

In the article, it says that "After the credits, Brock and the doctors look at the boys' smoldering bodies; Dr. Orpheus sobs and Dr. Venture merely tells a groaning Brock to "get their clothes"."

I always heard the line as "Alright, let's get their clones," not "clothes". This also makes more sense regarding the first episode of the 2nd season.--69.120.49.237 (talk) 23:25, 5 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I just watched the episode recently, and remembered to put the subtitles on. It does indeed say "clothes." However, the subtitles have been wrong before (and after.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.120.48.168 (talk) 03:06, 23 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

It is Clothes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.172.207.153 (talk) 14:19, 13 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:VB113.jpg

edit

Image:VB113.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Goof

edit

Orpheus has the power of illusion, is the Goof section really relevant in any way, shape or form? Lots42 (talk) 12:24, 26 September 2008 (UTC)`Reply
