Their some severe inaccuracies with this entry but the most glaringly heinous is that remedial massage can heal abroken bone that is just simply impossible.

This article stinks of a masseuse biased standpoint.

This is meant to be a reference article not a promotion.

While the "broken bone" is poorly worded, with remedial massage, you can encourage shin splints which are cracks in the bone to heal faster. I have been a remedial massage therapist for 4+ years and this is one of the best described articles that has described exactly what I do. It is different. It is painful, and yes it does require an excellent grasp of 3 dimensional anatomy but the premise is very sound. I went ahead and removed a significant portion of this article, which was not supported by citations to reliable sources.
