This is my personal testimony. As I wish to use myself as an exemplar to explain the quandary posed here, on the grounds that we must talk from our reality, I deliberately breach the normal Rules of Wiki yet choose to hide behind my avatar, which is also Rahere. The real man had great wisdom, the avatar is one of modern folly... If another editor wishes my help, I will willingly cooperate, however I am too close to his heritage in the real world to fully meet NPOV (no-one can possibly accuse me of impartiality in this) and so will not edit this myself.

  • One of my puns is in the top-100
  • I have been tested for a remarkable faith gift by the CofE Church Army, who supported my work, I was effectively straight onto the books as some modern kind of what is generically called a cleric.
  • I was highly placed in international diplomacy. It contributed to winning the EU "and its forerunners" (an organisation of which I was a senior officer for 20 years before the award) the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize.

It is no wonder my avatar is Rahere, I followed where he led. It is quite possible to be polyvalent, to be all three things at once. As I was, so was he.

A master of diplomacy should be both light and serious at the same time. A view to the long term is another simultaneous prerequisite, and some faith helps. Handling three things at once is a human norm, most can handle ten. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.251.182.189 (talk) 22:29, 14 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

As per WP:ELBURDEN, disputed links should be excluded by default until there is consensus for inclusion. @Sundayclose: please explain what unique value you feel the disputed link provides when there is already another link providing an image of the tomb. You're right. And in fact the other link is better. Sundayclose (talk) 18:14, 22 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
