RISAT-1A → EOS-04 – The satellite this article refers to is now called 'EOS-04'. It was previously called 'RISAT-1A' which is the current article title. The article acknowledges this but in my opinion it would be better if the article title is changed to 'EOS-04' to maintain consistency and accuracy mohitraj (talk) 08:28, 14 February 2022 (UTC) mohitraj (talk) 08:28, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support - ISRO in the past launches of the same lineup of these instruments and in the current activities has been refering to these satellites as "EOS-04" and within both the community and the public, the name is now more recognizable and common. Hence it will be in facilitation of the WP:COMMONNAME to change the name from Risat-1A to "EOS-04". Extorc (talk) 10:34, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support I don't like new naming scheme adopted by ISRO but it is official now and need to be moved on to. Ohsin 13:47, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support The Indian Government's diktat is to continue this naming scheme in the future as well. User:ChinmayAlpe 15:19, 17 February 2022 (IST)
