Ways to Improve the Article: a Suggestion
editHi! So, I made a horribly-worded comment in my edit notes, but I'd like to attempt to redeem myself with a few suggestions, if I can.
Reading through the article, I got the feeling that this registry is mostly based in the United States. Now, I have no issue with that whatsoever, but I would like to know, if at all possible, if this sort of thing exists in, say, Norway, or Germany, or Vietnam, for example. More or less, is this a worldwide thing, or is it more localized?
Second, the long list of state external links. While I understand that having and examining these links and all are useful to folks who come here without much knowledge on the issue, I can't help but feel that the twenty links, with .pdfs, etc., are a bit much. Could they perhaps be pared down to something more manageable, or could some of them be placed on a list through the HHS website or something of that sort? As it currently stands, I can't help but feel that the list is currently a hybrid between WP:EXCESSDETAIL and WP:IINFO.
Finally, given the current political atmosphere, are there any additional sources or is there any commentary on these that could provide another section, perhaps one discussing the impact of these registry, or how they generate dialogue and discourse? More information, when well-organized, is always appreciated.
