Common name

edit

@Fgt7: I saw that you removed the common name. At Markku Savela's Lepidoptera and Some Other Life Forms (here) it says Nevada Grayling. Do you have reason to believe that is wrong? It would really help if you used edit summaries to explain why you are making changes. Thanks,  SchreiberBike | ⌨  21:02, 23 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

I've changed the redirect, Nevada grayling, to go to Pseudochazara williamsi. I believe that's the intent of your edits, but I'm not sure.  SchreiberBike | ⌨  23:13, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello,

> I saw that you removed the common name

yes, the common name "Nevada Grayling" for Pseudochazara hippolyte (an Asian taxon) it is not appropriate now, because "Nevada" comes from "Sierra Nevada" (S. Spain), where it only exists the taxon Pseudochaza williamsi (formerly considered a subspecies of P. hippolyte, but now it's regarded as a different species). Conclusion: "Nevada Grayling" = P. williamsi
